G Gundam X Godzilla Planet of The Monsters

It all started years before any of us where born. November 3, 1954. The day he appeared for the first time. A creature born from man's hubris with atomic weapons. A creature that had survived for countless millennia and had become the embodiment of nature's wrath. Named Gojira, meaning "God incarnate" to the people of Odo Island where he was first sighted. We know him as Godzilla. He laid waste to Tokyo. Burning it to the ground and doing more damage than the bombs dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Mankind seemed powerless and could only watch as Godzilla vented his rage. The city destroyed, countless dead and others stricken with radiation sickness, the leviathan returned to the sea, his anger spent. It took the sacrifice of a brave man to defeat Godzilla... a sacrifice that sadly became all but in vain.
The beast returned. Whether it was the same one or another of his kind, we did not know. All that mattered was that Godzilla was back and more pissed off then ever. And he did not come alone.
It was the summer of 1967. The Vietnam War was in full swing, when a giant creature turned up in Saigon. A spiny-backed brute later dubbed Anguirus. Godzilla appeared later and the two brought forth a war far greater than the one being fought.
Eventually the U.S. Air Force managed to break up the battle with heavy ordinance. Anguirus hightailed it northeast, while Godzilla returned to the Pacific. It was believed that Godzilla had made his way to Saigon because he had sensed Anguirus and was curious. But Anguirus wasn't the last of them. A few months after the Saigon incident, a giant pterosaur named Rodan appeared and attacked Manila, the Philippines. Then Varan in Mexico. Baragon in Paris. Gorosaurus. Zilla. Titanosaurus. Ebirah. Megalon. Hedorah. Daghara. Destoroyah... the list went on. The kaiju were coming from everywhere and we couldn't stop them no matter what. We developed super weapons to try and fight them, but they were too powerful. It seemed nature was sick of our bullshit. Finally a decision was made by the UN.
They called it Project Gundam.
The object of the Gundam Project was to build various exo-suits that would distract the Kaiju as humanity fled into space. From there, the people would brought aboard colonies that had been constructed as part of this international coalition. Essentially we were abandoning our home. As far as the world's governments were concerned, if the kaiju wanted Earth... they could have it. Only a few people chose to stay.
It was on April 1, 1994 that humanity left the planet. That was 160 years ago.*
And now... the time had come to take back what was stolen from us.


My name is Domon Kasshu. And this is our story.

This came about as a result of me and KaijuAlpha1point0 doing some RP. Quite honestly I REALLY love this idea and I'd love to devote some time to it But lemme know what you guys think

Note: *The date 4/1/1994 is when G Gundam first aired in Japan. The reason as to why it's 160 years in the future is because G Gundam takes place in the year F.C. (Future Century) 60 so 160 years.
