GODZILLA: Angel Wars Manda

Manda is the the last in the great line of Mosasaurs, an ancient group of marine reptiles that ruled the seas of the Mesozoic. Mosasaurs, like Manda, are relatives of today's snakes. Manda's kind were the apex predators of their time. It's theorized that perhaps Manda was frozen in hibernation until she thawed out at some point. Manda first made her presence know in 1963, when a Chinese oil drilling platform accidently disturbed her slumber off the coast of Shanghai, China. The massive serpent attacked and destroyed the rig, killing the crew in the process, before moving inland to hunt for food. Manda soon began causing problems as her presence began affecting the local fisherman. Without being able to catch food, and in turn being attacked by Manda, price of fish began to skyrocket. The Chinese military decided to do something about. They launched an assault against the she-serpent, but were beaten back. Having no choice, the Chinese government called for help from the Japanese and American governments. A new campaign was launched, with the American's using a new electrical harpoon they had been developing. The harpoon, being both the first and last one since the cost to build them was too expensive at the time, was launched into Manda's back, while Japanese, Chinese and American vessels distracted her.  Manda, stunned from the shock, sank beneath the waves. She later turned up off the coast of Okinawa. Since then she has been spotted moving from location to location across the Pacific and the countries bordering it.
