Description
Armisael is the Sixteenth Angel, and the last of Adam's natural offspring.
Armisael suddenly appeared hovering in the air on the outskirts of Tokyo-3. Unit-00 was launched to investigate it, but the Angel appeared dormant. Just as Unit-00 was about to withdraw so the Angel could be observed more, it transformed from its ring-shape into its thread-shaped combat form, pierced Unit-00's Core with one of its thread's "ends", and began merging with Unit-00. Unit-00 shot the body of Armisael several times, but this did not stop it.
The mind of Armisael itself then contacted the mind of Rei, and engaged in a brief conversation remarking on their mutual loneliness. Kiryu, Unit-02 and Unit-01 were launched, but as soon as they did, Armisael tried to merge with Unit-01 as well; Unit-01 narrowly avoiding it.
Unit-01 grabbed Armisael's other end in its hands, and stabbed it with its prog knife, causing it to howl in pain like Rei.
Fearful for Shinji and the other's survival, Rei set her A.T. Field to maximum to draw Armisael to herself and try to contain it temporarily, and then activated Unit-00's self-destruct. However Kiryu severed Unit-00's head while Unit-02 ripped the entry plug out. Unit-01 then used all it's strength and hurled the body and the Angel towards the mountains, afterwards both Evas deployed their A.T. Fields just as Unit-00 blew up. This resulted in a massive explosion that destroyed Armisael.

I've been reading through these entries and other works in your gallery trying to get an idea of the full story of 'Angel Wars' and I've mostly enjoyed them, but I notice one problem with this one. Remember in Rebuild 1, when Shinji's getting hit by Ramiel's beam attack and Misato orders the entry plug ejected, but Gendo cancels that order because if the entry plug is ejected, Unit-01's AT Field will disappear and it will be destroyed? Same problem here: while's it great that they save Rei, removing the entry plug means Unit-00's AT Field is gone and there's nothing to stop Armisael escaping the explosion and trying to infect another Eva.
